Can I just buy insurance?

A. Yes.  You can just buy insurance, we are a full service insurance agency.

 We have been doing our own payroll for years, how could you help us?

A. We deliver our technology platform to clients via the Internet. This is a very cost effective solution for companies wishing to maintain the payroll function in-house. We also include with our payroll service the payment of all your insurance premiums giving you a “one stop shop point of service” allowing you to focus on your core business and not spend so much time on non-revenue producing overhead functions.

 What type of companies do you work with?

A. While no two clients are alike, the majority of our clients are between 3 and 50 employees, however, larger employee based clients can be accommodated as well.

 Do we have to make an investment in software, hardware, IT, etc to use your technology?

A. No. The sole requirement for utilizing our secure technology is a connection to the Internet. Our personnel coordinate the shift from your current system and take care of training you.

What if our company already has an HR Handbook?

A. We work within the scope of the existing handbook and provide resources that maximize your program. We support your overall HR strategy through our administrative services and technology.

 Are you a payroll company?

A. www.asc-insurance.com  is a joint agency full service insurance broker. Our ASO product uses a third party payroll provider and an internet portal to deliver our bundled services product. Payroll and tax liability functions for our clients are assumed through a third party contract with the payroll provider. We have negotiated volume rates and pass that savings on to you.  Payroll is a vital component in the overall suite of services we offer but is not mandatory. Customized employee management reporting is available through your personal secure website with or without payroll.

We are unique among licensed, full-service brokers providing core insurance products in that we also offer payroll and financial services, pay-as-you go workers comp, and other insurance and financial products. We provide HR and Safety Resources on your personal secure website. We are also capable of offering you all lines of coverage for your insurance needs.

How does payroll outsourcing work?

A.  In processing your payroll, we first recreate your company’s employee records in our database, and provide you with a secure connection to your personalized account. Each time you need to run a payroll, you simply log on to your account and process your timesheet from any computer with a web browser, add new employees, update your company information, etc. When you submit your timesheet online, we process your payroll, we withdraw funds from your company account to cover your payroll liabilities and your insurance premiums, and we execute direct deposits to your trust account for your insurance premiums. We deliver paychecks via courier or direct deposit for your employees, deposit your taxes with the required state and federal agencies, and provide you with hard copy reports of everything we do. Each quarter these transactions are reconciled (as required by law), and at the end of the year all necessary tax paperwork is submitted and W-2’s are produced. Your insurance carriers send the invoices to us and we pay your premiums for you from your individual insurance trust account.

How do I get my company's payroll information to you?

A. Via the web, your company’s personal secure website automatically sends us your timesheet to begin the payroll process when submitted by you, 24/7. You are able to maintain all of your employee specific payroll information on your personal secure website.  Any changes will automatically notify us.
